Our olive wax candle is made from pure olive wax created from the pulp that remains after pressing olives for olive oil.  
 
This by-product is transformed into one of the cleanest and healthiest waxes to burn, and one of the most sustainable plant-based waxes available.  Locally sourced within Europe, olive wax offers a circular and conscious alternative to other plant-based waxes like for example soy wax.
 
This unscented version is designed purely for atmosphere.  Ideal for dinners, kitchen tables or cozy evenings where you want the glow of a candle without the added scent.  Its low, wide shape keeps the flame visible and creates a warm, steady light.  Its just perfect for gatherings & sharing meals.
 
Each candle is hand-poured into a (what else ;-)) a hand-crafted terracotta pot made by our Pascual Cózar (Málaga) and is finished with a layer of natural engobe.  It has two cotton wicks for an even burn.

Surface Lines – A Natural Feature
Because each candle is hand-poured in natural olive wax, subtle hairline lines can appear on the surface. They’re purely cosmetic and melt away completely during the first burn.
 
Terracotta & Long Burns
Our terracotta pots are unglazed and naturally porous. If the candle is burned for longer than 4–5 hours, the pot can release “oil speckles” on the surface of the clay  a rare effect known as sweating in natural materials.
 
If It Happens
It doesn’t affect the candle at all. Simply let the pot cool down fully and gently rub the area with a soft cloth and a few drops of olive oil. The colour will even out again, returning to a smooth, natural finish (sometimes just a shade deeper).
 
To prevent this, we recommend the same guidance used by most artisan candle makers: don’t burn any candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time.
